Earlier today, the Tennessee Titans released a revamped concessions menu and location alterations for L.P. Field, their regular season home a short distance from Bridgestone Arena. Partnering with foodservice company Aramark, the new additions include:
Six gourmet burger stands across the stadium (aptly named “Nashgrille”), including two signature burgers – The Nashburger (Angus beef with pimento cheese, apple wood smoked bacon and pickled green tomatoes) and The Big Daddy Burger (Angus beef, Benton’s Smoky Mountain Country Ham Mac & Cheese and barbecue sauce)
Four stands offering the new Music City Meatloaf Sandwich (Homemade meatloaf with crispy, fried onions and chipotle mayo)
Four stands offering BoJangles’ Chicken Tenders and Fries
Six stands offering Petro’s Chili & Chips
Four stands offering the new Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (Spicy, hand-breaded chicken breast with lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and a side of blue cheese.)
With these new offerings, it begs the question as to which of Nashville’s two major sports franchises now has the better concession menus? Over the last two seasons, the Predators have done their best to completely reinvigorate their stale offerings with new life thanks to Chef Wade Gnann. Of the items the Predators have introduced their fans, they include Chicken and Waffles, Glazed Asian Pork Wings, Bacon-on-a-Stick, and own version of Nashville-style Hot Chicken, just to name a few.
With Aramark and the Titans pressuring new and higher-quality food options across the river, will the Predators attempt to solidify their menu again by introducing more new options?
