Game Summary:

Marek Mazanec registered the first shutout of his career as Nashville defeated the Red Wings 2-0 in the Predators’ lone trip to Detroit this season.

Shea Weber scored a power play goal at the end of the second period, while Gabriel Bourque scored an insurance goal in the third. Mazanec stopped all 27 shots he faced, while Jimmy Howard allowed a pair in the 25 shots he faced.

The Predators have now won back-to-back contests while the Red Wings have lost seven straight.
