Weber is one of four other defensemen invited that also won a Gold Medal with Team Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver (Boyle, Doughty, Keith, Seabrook). Along with former Predators defenseman Dan Hamhuis, Team Canada already has a strong foundation set in place in their attempt to defend their Gold Medal at the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.
