Per multiple sources, Hannan has officially been traded to the San Jose Sharks. Nashville, in return, will acquire a conditional 6th/7th round draft selection from San Jose in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

“Nashville, Tenn. (April 4, 2013) – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired a conditional seventh-round pick in the 2013 Entry Draft in exchange for defenseman Scott Hannan. The seventh rounder changes to a sixth-round pick if Hannan appears in the playoffs.
The Predators now have 10 draft picks for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft to be held June 30 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. – their own picks in the first, and fourth through seventh rounds, in addition Tampa Bay’s third-round pick, Toronto and Buffalo’s fourth rounder selections, the New York Rangers’ fifth-round pick and San Jose’s seventh rounder.”
