Entering the third period up 1-0 over Minnesota, Nashville gave up 3 straight goals in 12 minutes to drop a tough one to the Wild 3-2 on Thanksgiving Eve. The Predators started the first period off strong with a goal from Jordin Tootoo, but couldn’t accomplish much the rest of the game.

Nashville is back in action Friday evening when they face off against the Detroit Red Wings

Special Teams:

Powerplay – 1 for 6, 16.67%
Penalty Kill – 5 for 6, 83.3%

Best Play of the Game: Jordin Tootoo finds himself unguarded with the puck behind the Wild net. What does he do with it? Scores, of course. Tootoo made it 1-0 5:21 into the first

Worst Play of the Game:

My Three Stars:

#1:  - Mikko Koivu – 2 assists, +1 on the night. Koivu assisted on two of the Wild goals tonight and always plays great against Nashville

#2:  - Jordin Tootoo – 1 goal, 1 assist. Jordin Tootoo has earned his stripes and was able to get some time on the powerplay line tonight

#3:  - Ryan Suter – 1 goal, 5 shots, -1 on the night. Much better night from Ryan Suter after his previous two, taking a questionable penalty for slashing in the third period.
