UAH Hockey May Be Done, But The Memory Isn’t. Come See Them Play!

Today, news was released that the University of Alabama-Huntsville would cease their Division I hockey program after this upcoming season. Usually, the UAH Chargers don’t play in front of the largest of crowds, what could be better than for them to play in front of 17,113 people?

Here’s the deal: tickets for this event are super cheap ($8.99 after fees/tax for a GA ticket and $30.32 after fees/tax for a reserved seat) to either game. If you are a Nashville Predators season ticket holder, you get a free ticket to the game as well (you should have received a letter in the mail with a pamphlet explaining that to you)

SO, can you spare $9 for a general admission ticket or $30 for a reserved ticket? Same price (or less) for going to a Predators game and this will be the ABSOLUTE last chance you’ll have to see the UAH Chargers play an NCAA game in Nashville (at least for the forseeable future).

Both games are listed here:

There is a game Friday night, December 2nd at 7:05pm and a game Saturday afternoon, December 3rd at 1:05pm (which is right before the Buffalo Sabres game that night).

Buy a ticket, come out and support UAH, and fill up the bowl. Let’s support the Chargers even if they won’t be playing NCAA hockey next season. Don’t forget, Blake Geoffrion’s younger brother Sebastian plays for them as well!

I had a chance to watch them play last year, trust me it is definitely worth every penny of your ticket.
