The Line of the Future? BBS Line Nets 13 pts in Rookie Opener

Taylor Beck, Gabriel Bourque, and Craig Smith.

You might as well call them the Three Amigos because they appeared to have been playing for years together after the Nashville Predators rookies absolutely drowned the Tampa Bay Lightning rookies with goals, beating them 7-3 in the first of two games down in South Florida.

In what could have been the most dynamic debut for ANY line in the history of the Nashville Predators organization, Beck-Bourque-Smith put together 13 points in their first game together, their exact stats:

Taylor Beck, 1G, 3A
Craig Smith, 4G, 1A
Gabriel Bourque, 4A

Brent Andrews and Austin Watson finished off the scoring for the rookies, Ryan Ellis also had an assist

It’s nice to see some exciting offensive numbers from a Predators forward, let alone 3 forwards. This line showcases the future of the organization and could possibly be a line that fans may get to see here in the upcoming years for Nashville.

Although Beck/Bourque/and Smith most likely won’t make the starting lineup for the Predators, it would be hard NOT to see them in Nashville gold by the seasons end if they continue to put these types of numbers on the board.
