BREAKING NEWS: Training Camp Schedule/Roster Released!

-----

The Nashville Predators have officially released the 2011-2012 Training Camp schedule and roster, tacking on to the previously released Rookie Camp schedule/roster released a week or so ago. After the jump, you will find the initial press release from the team, the roster, and the schedule for each day:

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE TEAM:

Nashville, Tenn. (September 7, 2011) – Nashville Predators 2011 Training Camp will open with both on- and off-ice testing, physicals and meetings on Friday, Sept. 16 at Centennial Sportsplex. The team’s first on-ice practice sessions will be on Saturday, Sept. 17 at 9:30 a.m. at Centennial Sportsplex.  A complete training camp roster and schedule (with availability times) are attached.  Dates, times and roster are subject to change.

The majority of the Predators’ 13th training camp will be conducted at Centennial Sportsplex from Sept. 16-29.  The 55 players in camp will be divided into groups for the first week of camp (group rosters and a full schedule will be available at a later date), with the team’s first three preseason outings – a doubleheader at Florida on Sept. 19 (2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.), and the Baltimore Hockey Classic vs. Washington on Sept. 20 (6 p.m.) – coming after just two on-ice sessions. The Florida games mark the first doubleheader in franchise history, and kick-off an eight-game exhibition slate, the most played by the Predators since the 2002-03 campaign.

All practices at the Sportsplex are free and open to the public.

The Predators will also hold a Rookie Camp from Sept. 10-14 with a 21-man roster featuring some Predators draft picks from the past six seasons in addition to several free agent signees or invites. The prospects will open camp on Saturday, Sept. 10 with a on-ice practice at Centennial Sportsplex, and travel to Sunrise, Fla., for games against Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers prospects on Sept. 12 (5 p.m. CT vs. T.B.) and Sept. 13 (11 a.m. CT vs. FLA) at Saveology.com Iceplex.

Roster and Schedule are both below, downloadable version of both are here: (roster and schedule)
